Text.
The so-called Western Text of Acts, represented by a number of MSS of which the most famous is Codex Bezae (D), has substantially longer readings at certain points in the text, and the most significant of these are reproduced in the NRSV marginal readings (NRSV marg.). It has been argued that the longer text is original, but on the whole it is easier to explain the longer text as an expansion and clarification of a shorter original.
