1And an unseen voice sounded in his ears saying, Come, Sedrach, since you desire so earnestly to speak with God and to ask him to reveal what you would enquire about. 2And Sedrach said, Why so, my lord? And the voice said to him, I am sent to you to bring you up here into heaven. 3And he said, I would indeed speak face to face 1 Lit. ‘mouth to mouth’. with God; but I am not worthy, lord, to go up into the heavens. 4And stretching out his wings the angel took him, and went up into the heavens, and set him down in the third heaven. And the flame of the Godhead rested upon him.
